Estuary Vessels
This series of hand-printed photograms are a record of debris washed up on the estuary of the Lune River near Lancaster, UK. The ‘vessels’ were all collected on one walk along a stretch of the estuary that collects a mass of tidal rubbish, a record of consumption and disposal.
The prints are hand-printed on a fibre based photographic paper (Hahnemuhle) the variables in the process mean that even if only subtly, each print has unique qualities.
This is a variable suite of prints with up to sixty different ‘vessels’.

When selected and exhibited at The Biennial International Miniature Print Exhibition (BIMPE), Vancouver the work was awarded an ‘Honourable Mention’.
